My Story. The Studio

Hi, I'm Guillermo, the creator of Paint & Sip Ubud. I'd like to share the story of how this studio came to be.

For much of my life, I, like many others, underestimated my own creative potential. I often avoided art, believing it required a level of mastery I didn't possess. This was affecting my everyday life, I’d dress in all black or grey because I didn’t believe I would be creative enough to pull colorful outfits, and I’d avoid creative workshops even though I was drawn to them.

But something shifted when I finally realized creativity comes in many forms, and my creative power manifests in my ability to direct and create experiences that delight and surprise. I discovered a wellspring of creativity I never knew existed, a realization that ignited a passion I felt compelled to share.

That's the driving force behind Paint & Sip Ubud. I envisioned a welcoming space where individuals could experience their own creativity, regardless of their artistic background. A space where art becomes a journey of self-discovery and expression, a source of healing and joy. And while painting is certainly a core part of what we do, we offer a variety of experiences, from incense making to self-development workshops, all designed to help you tap into your creative spirit.

Our Mission: Experience Your Creativity

We break the rules of traditional Paint & Sip events where you follow the instructor and everyone's paintings end up looking the same.

Instead we focus on technique and 1:1 attention, allowing you to experience your own creativity and everyone leaves with a piece of art that is truly their own creation.

We blend art and technology to create an unforgettable journey. Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting that transforms with each event, setting the perfect mood for creative expression.

Imagine painting under a starry night sky or a party under music-reactive hues. And with an intimate setting for just 20 guests, you'll enjoy a personalized and engaging experience unlike any other paint and sip studio.

I believe that art is not just about the final product; it's about the journey itself, and I strive to make your creative journey as enriching and inspiring as possible.
