The goal was simple but ambitious: create a high-energy, memorable activity that encouraged collaboration and offered a creative escape from the usual work routine. The stunning backdrop of the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort provided the perfect setting, complementing our “Balinese Sunset” theme beautifully.
We knew our standard Paint & Sip experience was a blast, but for CPT’s group of 20, we elevated it with a powerful team-building element: Untied Canvas Painting.
What is Untied Canvas Painting?
It's a metaphor for teamwork! Instead of everyone painting their own masterpiece, participants work in pairs or small groups on canvases that are temporarily attached. The challenge is to paint a continuous, cohesive scene—in this case, a Balinese sunset—across all panels. When the time is up and the canvases are untied, the entire mural is revealed, demonstrating the power of working together toward a single vision. It’s an incredibly fun experience in Ubud (or in this case, Seminyak!) that focuses on communication and synergy.

Pre-Event Coordination: Our teams worked together seamlessly on logistics. All of the necessary workshop materials, from neon paints to easels and protective floor coverings (safety first to protect the carpets!), were delivered to the hotel a few days prior, ensuring zero last-minute stress.
Creating the Vibe: Our Bali Art Workshops Studio team handled all the decor and setup, turning the event space into an inspiring, vibrant studio. We set the mood with the right music and lighting, providing the perfect ambience for a relaxing, yet engaging, creative fun session.
Professional Delivery: On the day of the event, our instructors led the 20 CPT participants through every step of the painting class, providing expert guidance and encouragement. The execution was flawless, resulting in a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere.
